This is an Onsite role in Costa Mesa, CA As an Advanced Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions that drive innovation and efficiency across various industries. You will report directly to our Software Engineering Manager and work out of our Costa Mesa location. In this role, you will impact the development and implementation of software solutions that address critical challenges in the security industry. Your software engineering and technical leadership expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions. Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F. The annual base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $168,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills as well as market and business considerations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Develop and implement cutting-edge software solutions + Collaborate with cross-functional teams on high-impact projects + Drive innovation and efficiency in software development + Ensure software solutions align with industry best practices and quality standards + Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. YOU MUST HAVE + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics + 5 years of experience in Microsoft .NET Studio with a strong proficiency in programming languages such as C# and C++ + Experience writing Client-Server applications consuming APIs + Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines WE VALUE + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as computer science, software engineering, or a related field + Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field + Exceptional problem-solving capability and attention to detail + T-SQL knowledge is desired + Experience in leading large, complex software development projects + Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles + Passion for innovation and continuous learning Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
