Job Description

Yuba City manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for welders in a newly-formed component fabrication team. The team is tasked with fabricating small and medium size components that go into our industry-leading agricultural vehicles. We provide the tools and materials, you provide the talent and motivation, and together we will provide innovative, quality products to our customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up welding machine based on job requirements or job instruction worksheet
• Assemble and fabricate components as instructed by team leader or supervisor
• Read and interpret part and assembly drawings to determine welding requirements
• Lift and position parts or raw material into fixtures, work bench and/or work area
• MIG and/or TIG weld steel and stainless steel components based on specified drawings
• Ensure all welding work is done safely and according to standard OSHA guidelines
• Ensure all welding work sent downstream is of high quality and free of defects
• Follow, create and maintain welding procedure documents such as work instructions
• Update welding station work board regularly and communicate with teammates and supervisors
• Keep work area clean and organized according to 5S principles
• Follow all company rules and policies as specified in the employee handbook
